Every horse is different, and every lesson is geared towards each horse & rider and their current performance level and goals for the future - whether its improving basic manners, bringing on your horse to compete, want to improve your flatwork and softness under the saddle (AND have fun doing it!!) or maybe just want to have a more enjoyable ride when you're out & about. Lessons can be ridden or on the ground, depending on what you want to achieve and what stage your horse is at.

There are nice ways to do things, but there is still a job which needs to be done at the end of the day. The proof is in the pudding - have you learnt useful skills during the lesson? After your homework does your horse display an improved way of going? There is no minimum lesson amount - sometimes you can get enough out of one lesson to give you the skills to get where you want to be :)

Private lessons are for 1 hour min, and the cost includes full email support between lessons, assigned homework after each lesson, and entry into the Irish Horsemanship Awards scheme. Riders must be over 18, horses to be over 4, no stallions or dogs allowed.

DUBLIN EVENING LESSONS

Private one hour lessons are available on weekday evenings in Dublin and Kildare/Meath/Wicklow areas near to Dublin. Email the office.

WEEKEND LESSONS

Weekend lessons are available at your home in most parts of the country. Private lessons for 1 person within 30 miles of Cashel, Tipperary or Dublin city centre, or somewhere near the road from Tipp to Dublin (north cork, limerick, west waterford, laois, west kilkenny, kildare, meath, etc). If you live further away, you'll need a group of min. three people who are interested.

Arrange your own group lesson or clinic.

If you and two or three friends want to arrange a lesson at your home / yard, just email us. All you need is a horse each (over 4, already broken, no stallions) and a curious mind! :) The first lesson is usually groundwork - no riding. €60 per hour in total, minimum 3 hours. You can have a group lesson for the full time, or split it into shorter individual lessons if you prefer. It depends really on your horse & what each person whats to address on the day.
